Time Blocking and the Daily Time Bar

Self-employment with a home office delights with perks. But a dark side threatens nirvana: untamed procrastination. To keep myself on the straight and narrow road of productivity, I time-block my work days, twice, i.e. dual time blocking, reflecting The Plan vs The Reality. Nothing beats it for accountability!

My morning routine includes color-coding the planned day, while its companion evening ritual witnesses the truth, i.e. my actual endeavors throughout the day. Confined to five umbrella life categories, review sessions alert me to both time well spent and “Yo, BrainGirl, get on the good foot!” needs.

The Daily Time Bar forms another implementation, worthy of your consideration.
