    1. I thought so too. Dang near incurred whiplash when I spotted him out the corner of my eye! Hoping to see him again during breeding season. His colors are already so intense, I gotta see how they blossom when he’s on display! Wish me luck, and enjoy the week.

      1. I’m a supremely lucky Philly native, living in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. The world-renowned Sylvan Heights Bird Park → a mere 90 minute drive. Birds + ducks from every continent, most roaming freely within huge walk-through “by continent” areas — net as ceiling. Bonus: they specialize in reinvigorating almost-extinct species. I see feathered birds literally not available in the wild.
