| Reading: Throughout our day we make 100’s of decisions which reduce our willpower. When we wake up in the morning we usually haven’t made any decisions, so our willpower is the highest it will be at any point in the day.
Early morning hours belong to you, and you alone. Your mind is less scattered and interruptions are rare. Honing your focus during this time forms step one in beginning the day with a sense of accomplishment.
Countless studies and articles echo the same principle: master your first thoughts of the day, and you master your life.

The First 3 Hours of Your Day Can Dictate How Your Life Turns Out
In almost all the books and articles I read, the morning always seems to have a high priority. Am still experimenting with some morning routines to see how that works.
I noticed that too, and took action. Gotta say — having a genuine morning routine —designed to cement a positive mindset— def yields lingering results! Nothing beats enhanced focus for realizing a day’s intentions. Thanks for reaching out, and enjoy the extended holiday weekend!
Just out of curiosity, have you read Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss?
There is a good piece on morning routines.
Funny you pose the Q. I indulged a self-care mission, visiting Barnes & Noble to munch cheesecake 🍰☕️🤗 while checking out this book. Ultimately I passed– seemed to stretch assorted points stated in a more efficient & effective manner elsewhere.
In any event, once I added Nature’s first yawn to my morning routine, there was no turning back. PreDawn coffee, on my front porch, just listening & observing. Whole ‘nother level of rejuvenating peace!
Enjoy the extended holiday weekend, and many thanks for reaching out! 👊🏽
I love getting stuff done in the morning. Sometimes it’s interrupted when my 2yo wakes up tho.
That’s ok. Just the Universe whispering “time to take a break!” 🤗 Enjoy the holiday and extended weekend!
