i have a theory, derived from a lifetime of observations. Those with an inner core oozing happiness and contentment devote no time to discussing the absent. Nor do they attempt to commandeer the concerns of others. They verbalize opinions only (1) when asked (2) to assist the other’s goal quests.
But those with hearts overflowing with the venom of unrealized dreams rush to kidnap the business of others. Unschooled in the art of Emotional Intelligence, they focus on others to avoid the disappointing eyes glowering from the mirror.
Either way, the core’s critical truths always emerge through one’s pattern of speech, itself a byproduct of character. What are your whispers in the dark, focused on the business of others, thundering about you?
