This magnificent shock of color greets me from our backyard most days.

Yesterday, when my peripheral vision caught him, I stopped, plopped in a chair near the window, and focused on Nature’s show. My spirit, doused in visual Valium, danced. Today I am grateful for refusing to overlook the usual.
